I love any excuse to whip up a batch of chocolate bark. My kids go nuts when they see it in the freezer and it’s become a family favorite. So, of course with Easter just a few weeks away I had to make some Easter Bark for my family.
Reeses Pieces Eggs
2 Bags of White Chocolate Chips
Take aluminum foil and line a cookie sheet with it. Break up oreos and pretzels and layer the bottom of the cookie sheet. Add crushed M&Ms and Reeses Pieces Eggs on top of the oreo and pretzels layer. You will want to press down so that the crushed chocolates fill in the spots between the oreos and the pretzels.
In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate chips. I usually melt one bag at a time in the microwave. It looks something like this: 30 seconds, stir; 15 seconds, stir; and continue at 15 second intervals until all of the chips are melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the cookie sheet and then smooth out. One bag will cover half the cookie sheet so you will have to melt another bag and do the same thing for the second half of the cookie sheet. Add sprinkles on top of the melted white chocolate (Nerds if you want also) and then freeze for about an hour.
Lift the foil off the cookie sheet and then break up the bark. This Easter bark is delicious no matter what but it tastes best when it’s served cold. I usually fill up a few gallon size freezer bags with the finished bark and pop back into my freezer for easy snacking.
